Okay, go ahead…sing with me – “I dare you to mooooooooove!…”
That will be stuck in your head all day. You’re welcome.

As I’ve mentioned before, I work at a university and we were fortunate to host Switchfoot this past weekend in concert! Full disclosure, I *ALMOST* didn’t go because I hadn’t heard their newest album and thought that I wouldn’t know any of the music. Also, I’m old and loud music + staying up past my 10:00 pm bedtime = a groggy Monday morning. I’m SO GLAD I went because they put on an AWESOME show. And I’m using a lot of ALL CAPS because IT WAS SO GOOD AND YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT.
My husband is in marketing at the university where we work so he and his office were responsible for making this whole concert happen and he may or may not have gotten to chat with Jon Foreman a couple of times and I may or may not be a little jealous of that. I love Jon Foreman! Not only do I love Switchfoot, (The Beautiful Letdown – best SF album and takes me back to my youth 🙂 ) but I also love Jon’s solo albums and his work with Sean Watkins in Fiction Family. Pretty much everything he does is awesome. And according to Cody, he’s a pretty cool guy, too.
He has TONS of other music. His “Fall” album is a solo EP and he has one for each season. Okay, so all the music he does is amazing. Just go listen to all of it. Not that I’m being bossy or anything.
Here are a couple of videos I took last night before my phone died. Both of these songs are from The Beautiful Letdown album. (Can you tell that’s my favorite?) *If you’re reading in a reader, you may need to click over to see the videos*
The quality of this first one is terrible but the light show is awesome!
This next one was a more unplugged version of Twenty-Four. So good!
So what’s the best concert you’ve ever been to? Are you a Switchfoot fan?
