For a long time, I’ve been looking for the right crochet hook case. I desperately needed a way to keep all my hooks together. I find them all over the house, sometimes in a pencil cup or under the couch, if my cat had anything to do with it. I have found a lot of cases online that I like but most were out of my budget, so I tried to come up with a way that I could make one without having to sew. I don’t like to sew.
After some extensive searching, some tiring brainstorming, I thought maybe I could crochet one! I’m usually smart and on top of things like that. 🙂
Anyhow, I googled a few patterns and found this one that I liked.
It’s an easy star pattern and it works up quickly. I made this while watching a movie with my man.
I used this cotton yarn and it took just under a full skein. I LOVE this yarn! 🙂
It’s “Country Red” and it’s the perfect, muted shade. And I love that it’s cotton.
It’s great that I have more room to add hooks as I collect them.
And it rolls up nicely! I like the ties that keep it closed. If you need hook storage, make one of these!
