Y’all. I’m about to die of embarrassment. I can’t believe I’m actually blogging about this.
I’ve heard amazing things about Poo-Pourri Spray but I’ve never used it before. Probably too embarrassed to actually buy it in a store. I came across a recipe for making it at home so I tried it just to see. Amazing! I love it! I’ll never *ahem* go without it again. 🙂 (Seriously, so embarrassing…)
I mixed 10 drops of Lavender and 10 drops of Peppermint in a small metal spray bottle and topped it off with water. To use, give it a good shake and spray 3-4 times in the toilet bowl before sitting down. You can use any blend of oils you like. (And I like to mark used containers with washi tape.)
Here’s how it works: when you spray the oil mixture into the bowl, it forms a barrier across the top of the water so that all offending smells get trapped under it.
Just try it and use it. But don’ t talk to me about it. Just keep it to yourself.
Okay, I have to end this before I collapse in a heap of bright red cheeks and shaky hands. Dead of embarrassment. Dead.
DISCLAIMER: The things I share with you are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any illness or be a substitute for any medicine. It is true that I have found less need for OTC medicines, but you have to make choices that are right for your family. Another choice I’ve made is to exclusively use Young Living Essential Oils. I believe they are 100% pure without any synthetic additives. That’s huge to me! I have read a lot of material on different essential oil companies and Young Living is what I have chosen. If you choose to use essential oils, I encourage you to do some research and choose the brand that you believe in.
