I know, I know. There are a bajillion 31 Days bloggers that blogged about essential oils. Well, now, it’s my turn. 🙂
I have been using essential oils in my house for about five years. In the past, I would buy them from places like GNC or Whole Foods and use them for “natural” cleaning. I’ve been reading more in the last year or so about more uses for essential oils beyond cleaning. I became more and more interested in ways that I could use them to keep our family healthy! I’ve done my research and I can honestly say that for the past three months that we’ve been using pure essential oils in my family, we have been consistently healthier and have been able to treat our health issues with oils and not OTC products. With that being said, the things I share with you in the coming days are ways that I’ve chosen to keep my family healthy. The things I share with you are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any illness or be a substitute for any medicine. It is true that I have found less need for OTC medicines, but you have to make choices that are right for your family. Another choice I’ve made is to exclusively use Young Living Essential Oils. I believe they are 100% pure without any synthetic additives. That’s huge to me! I have read a lot of material on different essential oil companies and Young Living is what I have chosen. If you choose to use essential oils, I encourage you to do some research and choose the brand that you believe in.
If you’ve been here before, you’ll remember that I’ve blogged about my use of essential oils in the past few weeks. My goal is to share with you the every day ways that I use oils. Most of the oils that I’ll use are available in the Everyday Oil collection from Young Living. These oils are included in a Premium Starter Kit, available for $150. (I don’t want to be sales-y. I’ll provide ways for you to purchase oils, but I won’t be pushy. Also, if you already have a friend that you’ve spoken with about Young Living, please order from that friend!)
Feel free to ask questions throughout the series. I want you to ask questions and I want you to engage! However, I’m not interested in debating essential oils brands or my choices for my family. My choices are MY choices. You make your choices and I’ll make mine. Mean or argumentative comments will be deleted. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
Now, let’s talk oils! I have my 31 days planned out, but are there any specific questions or expectations? Any thing you’d like to request that I blog about?
